Laudert, April 3, 2025 - Plantafood Medical GmbH is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Markus Dick as the new Head of Research & Development. Effective April 1, 2025, Dr. Dick will assume responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the company's innovation and research projects.
Dr. Markus Dick is an experienced scientist and executive with an impressive track record in the field of biochemistry and food technology. His professional career has taken him to Gelita AG, where he was Team Leader Analytics and Downstream Processing. There he was responsible for setting up an analytics laboratory and developing innovative methods for quality analysis. Prior to this, he was Program Manager R&D at Synbionik GmbH and led a team of over 20 employees in the development of new processes for food technology applications. He also gained international research experience at the renowned California Institute of Technology in the USA, where he worked under the direction of Nobel Prize winner Frances Arnold.
With his expertise in innovation management, analytical processes and biochemical research, Dr. Dick will play a key role in driving Plantafood Medical's Research & Development department forward. “I am looking forward to working with a dedicated team on the development of new technologies and products that will shape the future of the nutrition and health industry,” says Dr. Markus Dick.
